SEVENTH MEETING OF THE COUNCIL

The seventh meeting of the Council for the year was held in the
Council Room on Monday evening June 4th.
The following members being present Namely:-Mayor Walton, Reeve
Legge and Councillors Andrews, Bilbro ugh, Grey, Hancock and Knowles.
The minutes of the previo'lS meeting read and confirmed •
The Vetrar1s Club asking the privilege of the use of the Town Park
for Monday, July 2nd., also asking for a grar1t fo'r expense of Town Bard.
Mr R. Hacking Sec. of Aurora Fire Bepartment re supplies for Dept.
The Canadiarl Red Cross Society appealing for funds for theMuni-
cipali ty of Cochrar1e,
Moved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Hancock that the following
accounts be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer ·
for the same ar1d that the seal of the Corporation be attached to
this resolution, namely~-

structed to get in communication with the Owners of the John Fergusn
Estate with the object in view of opening George Street through to
Kennedy Street Md to put a four inch Ma.in on said Street.

ing report.
