N I N T H M E E T I N G 0 F T H E C 0 U N C I L
F 0 R 1 9 2 2.
The ninth meeting of the Council for the year was held .in the Coun-
cil Room on Saturday evening March 25th.
The following members being present N:unely :-Mayor Sheppard, Ree_ve
Knowles Councillors Andrews, Bilbrough, Grey, Legge a.ud Matson.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Matson that the tender of the
Warren Bituminous Paving Co. for paving Wellington Street from Yonge
Street to Ross Street be accepted and the Clerk be authorised to
notify them. The work to be undertaken at the price as set out in
their tender.
'rhat the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution.
Carried.
Moved by Mr Legge seconded by Mr Grey that the Solicitlilr,,be in-
structed to prepare a By-law for providing funds for Aurora's share
of paving Wellington Street from Yonge Street to Ross Street.
And another By-law for $2000 for drain;i;ng :Uld improving Berczy
Street from Wellington Street to the Southern limit.
The By-laws to provide for a. charge of 5 per cent on -~he property
on the Streets.
That the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution.
Carried.
The Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
