The seventeenth meeting of the Council for the year was held
in the Council Room on Monday evening Septemoer 19th.
The following memoers being present Namely:-Mayor Baldwin, Reeve
Knowles Councillors Bilbrough, Butler, Hancock and Matson.
The minutes of the J.ast meeting read and confirmed.
Communications were received and read"from the following persons
Namely:-Mr C. L. Wilso:l Assistant Manager of the T. ol: Y. R. Ry. Co.
re interchange siding. Mr Robert Hacking Secretary Aurora Fire Dep-
artment. presented the report of the delegates to the Weston Fire Con-
ventiou.

whole Mr Knowles in the chair.
Committee rose and reported By-law with blanks filled.
By-law read a third time ax1d passed.
Leave was asked .to introduce a By-law to appoint a member to the
Public Library Bo:ird for the Town of Aurora in place of Dr T Scrivener
Leave grax1ted ax1d By-law read a first time.
Moved by Mr Hancock seconded by Mr Matson that i;he By-law now befo-
re the Council be read a second and third time this day and that Rule
33 of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose.
Carried.
By-law read a se.cond time ax1d Council went into committee of the
whole Dr Butler u1 the chair.
Committee rose Blld reported By-law with blank filled with the name
of C F Ewers.
By-law read a third time and passed.
Council then adjourned to meet at the call. of the Mayo.r.
