FOR 1921.
The eighth meej;ing of. the Council for the year was held in the
Council. Room on Tuesday evening April 26th.
The following members being present Namely:-Mayor iald.win Couricil-

A petition was received from Mr E Day and sL> others reEElectric
Light opposite Mr G W Johnston's residence on Irwin Avenue.
Bills were recieved from the following persons Namely:-

Canadian General Electric Co (wire)
Northren Electric Co (electric supplies)
Trussed Concrete Steel Co (rib bars for bridge)
The James Robertson Co (pipes lie fittings W W)
James Brothers {insurance on Fire Appliances)

Moved by Mr Naughton seconded by Dr ilutler that the following ac-
counts be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer for
the same and the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto, Namely:-

ett St. a distance of 94 feet at app. cost $137.40. Carried.

8 That the walk in front of Mr Charles Cooks residence be raised 10
inches higher for a dist~1ce to level of curb 20i feet cost app. $249.00.

9 That a new cement walk be built on the east side of Yonge St.from
Mr A Roses property to Mrs Kerr's residence a dist~1ce of 1S9 feet
at app, cost of $189,00. Carried.
10 That the drive bridge on Kennedy St. be widened by 6 feet with a
reinforced concrete sla.o costing app. 100.00.
11 That a 3 foot 6 inch walk (cement) be laid on the east side of
Temperance St. from Tyler St to new cement bridge a distance of 284
feet app. cost $184. 50. Carried.
12 That a new cement drive bridge be built on Tyler St. being a 20
foot drive with a 12 foot sp~l with break water wings on the north
14 feet, on the south 18 feet at a cost app. $875. 00. Carried.
13 That a new cement walk bridge be built on the south side of Tyler
St. 19 feet sp~1 cost app. $70.00, Carried.
14 A cement walk on Tyler St. from walk bridge west a dist~JCe of
100 feet at cost app. $70.00. Carried,
15 That a new crossing be built on Temperance St. fronting Mr :Sates
residence at a cost app. $50. 00. Carried.
17 That a new cement waJ.k be laid em the south side of Center St,
from Mr liiroomes residence to the front v.f Mrs Stewarts a distance of
165 feet cost app. $140.00. Carried,
18 That this Corporation wil.l grade the east side of Youge St. north
from mrs Greens residence to mr J Faris's gate and furnish 20 loads of
