TWENTIETH MEETING OJ!' THE COUNCIL

The twentieth meeting of the Council for the year was held in
the Council Room on ;Jlonday ·evening Septemoer 13th.
All the members oeing present. The Mayor in the chair.
The minutes of the previous meeting read and confirmed.
Mr R E E Nathanson of the On'1:;3.rio Production Company was again
hea.rd in reference to locating their Fa.ctory in Aurora..
Mr J M Pe.terman was heard in reference ~o driveway to his
premises on Yonge Street.

endeavor to secure at the e3.rliest moment possiole 3. Constaole for
duty in ·~his Town at a s3.l3.ry of $1200. 00 per year 3.lld tha.t; the
Clerk be and is hereby instructed to advertise in Daily. P3.pers for
applications for this position. And tha·t; the Corpora·t;e seal oe at-
tached hereunto. Carried.
Moved by R R Matson seconded by Mr Browning that this Council
do have the Clerk write to the Highway Commission and ask them if they
are responsiole for the present condition of the Auror'l. sidev1'll.r.:s
affected oy the new road, and what steps they intend to take to
put them in shape. And the seal of the Corporation be attached to
this resolution. Carried.
Leave was asked to intruduce a By-law to assess for County,
School and other purposes.

Moved oy Mr Matson secouded by Mr Browuing that the By-law
now oefore the Council be read a second and third time this day
and that Rule 33 of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose.
Carried.
By-l3.W read a second time and Council wen-c intm committee of
the whole Mr Naughton in the chair.
Committee rose and reported By-l3.w with bl3.nks filled, lily-law
read a third time a.nd passed.
Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
