Moved by Mr F9.ris seconded oy Mr Matson that the resigtl!l.tion of Mr W J Baldwin !l.S Housing Commission as tendered by him in writing be and hereby accepted. And the seal of the Corporation be affixed · thereto. C9.rried. Leave was asked to introduce a By-law to authorise the Mayor 3.nd Tre:~.surer co borrow money to meet the current expenditure of the Corporation until the taxes are paid. Leave grant;ed and By-law read a first time. Moved by Mr Browning seconded by Mr Matson that the By-law now before the Council be read a second 9.nd third time this day and that Rule 33 of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose. C9.rried. By-law read a second time and Council went into committeeof the whole Mr lhtson in ~;he chair. Committee rose and reported By-law with blank filled. Moved by Mr J P N3.ughton seconded by Mr J HicKson That the proposed grarns towards the Township Roads ar1d llridges as uutJ.iued oy the Honourable the Minister of Public Works, be extended to include the Villages ar1d Towns in the Province of Ontario.
