N I N T E E N T H M E E T .I N G 0 F T H E C 0 U N C I L
F 0 .R 1 9 1 6.
The ninteenth meeting of the Council for the year was held in
the Council Room on Monday evening August 21st.
The following members being present Namely:-Mayor Baldwin, Reeve
Knowles, Councillors Andrews;Bassett, Crockart, Hancock and Ross.

Moved by Mr Crockart seconded by Mr Hancock •
Whereas the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora is inter-
ested that the lines or tr3.cks of the Gr3.nd Trunk Railway and the
York RB.dial should be connected for the purpose of admitting the
transfer of engines and trains from the lines or tracks of one such
railway to those of the other, and for the receiving, forwarding,
delivering and interswitching of traffic between such railways.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that our Solicitors Messrs Lennox &
Lennox be 3,nd they are hereby authorised and instructed to make
an application to the Board of Raihray Commissioners of Canada in
the form of the application hereto attached and under the section of
the Railw9.y Act therein mentioned or upon such other form 9.nd sec-
tion as they may be advised.
Carried.
Council then adjourned to meet on Tuesday evening August 22nd.
