'fhe thirty fifth meeting of the Council was held in the Council
room on Monday eveuing.Dec. flith.
The following members being present:-namely Mayor Baldwin, Reeve
Knowles, Councillors Andrews, Bassett, Crockart, Hamcock & Murray.
The Mayor in the chair.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted.
Communications were received and read from the following persons
namely:-
c. L. Gully re Fire Alarm, Charles L. Cochrane re Soldiers Aid Commission.
R. W. Phillips re recruiting an Overseas Battalion in York County.
British and canadian Finance Company re location of a Fact!iry or
Factories. H. Kendall Ward re Soldiers Entertainment Fund.
Office Bureau Limited. re Street Lights near their Factory.

accounts be paid and that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer
for the same and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to

Moved by Mr Knowles Seconded by Mr Murray that the Couucil of the
Municipality of the Town of Aurora apply to the Muuicipal Corp.,-
pration of the County of York for (50) fifty Rifles :for use of
the AUrQra Horne Guard, and that the Mayor and Clerk be and they

are hereby instructed to enter into any guarru1tee or agreement
that may be required by the County Council upou receiving over
the said Rifles, and the seal of the Corpor-tion be attached to
this resolution.

Moved by Mr Knowles Seconded by Mr Murray that the request of
the Office Bureau Limi t13d re W. Percy Gillispie be grru1ted ru1d
the Electric Light Comrni ttee be ami they are hereby instructed
to have necessary Lights placed in the proper places.
Carried.
Council then adjourned to meet on Monday evening Dec 13th.
