The nineteenth meeting of the Council was held in the Council room on Monday evening May 3rd. All the members being present. The Mayor in the chair. A deputation vras heard from the Orange order re Electric Lighting. Mr. M. Shuleman was also heard q.sking for extension of the Eiectric Lighting and Waterworks system on Kennedy Street. The Committee appointed to engage a .. Constable aud Corporation Employee,reported that they had engaged Duncan Cram to fil: ~!':e position occupied by Fisher Dunham previous to his enlistment for active service. Installing of said tank to meet the approval of the Road & Bridge Committee, and that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution. Carried-.
