The eighteenth meeting of the Council was held in the Council
room on Monday evening April 12th.
The following members were present, Mayor Baldwin, Reeve Knowles,
Councillors Bassett, Crockart, Hulse, and Hancock.

A communication was received from Mr. Andrev1s and others re
v;ater pipes on Kennedy street .•
Mr. C. 1. Gulley was heard in reference to changing the
fire alarm boxes.
Moved by Mr. Knowles seconded by Mr. Hancock that the Fire
and wi,ter committee be and they are hereby instructed to examine
the :fire alarm system and report what changes is required to
make the system satisfactory,. and report to the next meeting of
this Council. Carried.
Moved by Mr. 117. J. Bassett seconded by Mr. H-ulse that the
M2yor, Reeve, and Councillor Murray be a committee to engage a m&n
for the Town to fill the vacency caused by Fisher Dunham enlisting
and the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution.
Carried.
Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor •
