The thirteenth meeting of the Oouneil for 1914 was held in
the Council Roam on Tuesday Evening June 23rd, the following
members being present viz Mayor Baldwan, Reeve Knowles and
Councillors Bassett, Crookart, Coulter and Sisman.

Moved by Mr Sisman seconded by Mr Coulter that the following
account be paid that the Mayor issue an order on the treasurer
for the same and that the seal of the Corpora~ion be attached
t.o this resolution.

Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by MrSisman that the request
of the Old Boys Reuniom Associatien of Toronto asking for the
free use of the Town Park and Market Hall for their reunion for
the First three days af July 1914 be granted and that the seal
of the Corporation be attached ta this resalution.
Carried.
Maved by Mr Bassett seaanded by Mr Knowles that in aacordance
with a resolution passed by the Citizens at a public meeting
held in the Town Hall ~·) ' :z&r asking this Council to grant the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars to be used by them in decorating
the Town, also in hiring the Town Band and other necessary e
expenses incured by them in connection with themiiK Old Boys
Reunion on July First Second and Third be granted, and that the
Mayor and Treasurer are hereby authorized and instructed to pay
the bills when OKed by the chairman and Treasurer of the Citizens
Committee. and the seal of the Corporation be attached to this
resolution

be suspended at noon on Saturdays and that Mr Dunham be instructed
to do Constable work Saturday AfterNoons and Evenings.
Carried.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded Mr Coulter that the Mayor be and he
is hereby instructed to employ what Constables is needed for the
1st, 2nd and 3rd July.
Carried.
The Clerk was instructed to make inquiries re O'leary opening
a bar in his driving shed and report to this council at its next
mreting.
Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor/
