The tenth meeting of the Council for 1914, was held in the Council
Room on Monday evening June Lst, the following members being present
Mayor Baldwin Reeve Xnowles and Councillors Bassett, Crockart,
Coulter, and Murray.
Minutes of the last two meetings read and confirmed?
Communications were received and read from the Ontario Moter
League, re the erection of signs on the streets, giving the ,
speed limit, and offering to supply the signs for 25 cents each.
From the Hydro-Electrical Radial Union asking the Council
to join the Union
A petition was received from R. w. Woodsworth, and four others
askimg the Council to construct a four foot cement sidewalk on
Kennedy Street from the creek to the west side of Rev R. w. Woods
worths orchard on the north side of Kennedy Street.
A petition was received from T. H. Lennox and three others
asking thll' Counoil ,to construct a four foot cement sidewalk on the
south side af Tyler street from George Street to the west side
of the lot owned by Mr george Case.

The above bills were laid over until next meeting of the
Council.
A deputation was heard consisting of H. E. Proctor, H. Andrews
and W. H. Cockerill was heard, asking for a four foot cement
sidewalk on the north side og Cannught Avenue.
Messers Alexander and P111octor were heard re the grant to
the Old Boys Reunion to be held here on July 1st, 2nd/ and
3rd asking the council to retain $250 or $300 of the,,,

defray the expenses of the local Committees
Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor
