The eleventh meeting of the Council for 1913 was held on
Tuesday evening May 13th the following members being presen}
Mayor Baldwin, Reeve Knowles and Councillors Andrews/ Bassett,
Crockart and Rulse.

Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed
On motion Mr John Ferguson was heard in regard to o~ening
street~ ob the new subdivision recently purchased from Mr
Hutchinson, more generally known as the Knowles property in the
south western part of the Town.
After sene consultation it was decided to leave the matter in
abeyance until plans of the property were submitted/
The chairman of the waterworks committee, Mr Bassett presented
a report showing the numbe.r of main which would be required to be
put in to supply ika water to the large number of applicahts
for water services. After considerable discussion it was
decided to lay the matter for.further consideration.
The Clerk reported that he had received the agreemeht between
the York Radial Railway and the town for electric power signed
by both parties.
The Clerk reported he had received notice from the Solicitors
of an alledged injury received by one Joseph Birch by being
thrown from his rig at the corner of Yonge and Wellington Streets
caused by a defect in the ballasting of the Toronto and Jerk
Radial Railway Companys rails.
Bylaws were introduced to appoint a Court of Revision and to
Amend Bylaw No 320,

IKoved by Mr Andrews seconded by Mr Sisman that the Bylaws now
before the Council be read a second and third time this day and
that rule 33 of bylaw No 10 be suspended for that purpose and
that the seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution.
Gtrtied.
Bylaws read a second time and Council went into committee
of the whole on the same Mr Crockart in the chair.
Committee rose and reported bylaws with blanks filled.
Bylaws read a third time and passed.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Sisman that the chairman of
the propertynCommittee be and he is hereby instructed to have
the window in the cell in the Lockup repaired and grated.
Carried.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Crockart that ~ouncillor
Bassett be and he is hereby instructed to interview Mr 1-iunroe
re sale of of Lot at the south enf of George street for
street extension purposes.
Carried.
Moved by Mr Crockart seconded by M~ Sisman that the Account
of the Bell Telephone Company amoun~ing t~ $2.28 be paid and
that the Mayor issue an order on the Treasurer for the same and
that the seal of the corporation be attached to ttB this resolu
ticn.
