The seventh meeting of the Council for 1913 was held on Monday
Evening March 3rd the following members being present Viz;-Mayor
Baldwin Reeve Knowles and Councillors Bassett, Browning, Andrews
Crockart, Hulse and Sissman.

Minutes of the last two meetings read and confirmed.
Communications were received and read from;-
From F. J. McNally Re Insurance on Waterworks house and Plant.
From the United States Cast Iron Pipe ancf Foundry Co re Water PIPES
Petitions were received from Daniel Williamson and four others
asking the Council to repair the culvert on Wellington street east
Petition from Fred Chapman and four others asking the Council to
construct a cement sidewalk on the south side of Irwin Avenue
The Mayor reported that the Collie Cockerill Company's Debentures
had been disposed of at the favourable figure of 98 and accrued
interest.
The Electric Light Committee reported that they had received Professor
Hurdt 1 s report on the Electric Light and Power "-estion whi.ch was
referred to him and laid the report on the table
Bills were received from
The AurDra Electric Light Co for transformer
Toronto and York Radial Railway, freight

Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by Mr Sisman that the following bills
be paid that. the Mayor sign orders forvthe same and that the seal
of the Corporation be attached to this resolution,
The Aurora Electric Light Co
The Toronto And York Radial railway

Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Browning that the Mayor and Counc
illors Andrews and Hulse be a committee to have the town property
re insured at a proper value

Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by l'lr Browning that the report of
Professor Hurdt of McGill University Montreal be and the same is
hereby accepted, and that the Electric Light Committee be and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to complete the Agreement with
the Toronto and York Radial Railway and submit the same to this
Council for confirmatimn

J,eave was asked to submit. a bylaw to amend Bylaw 261 of this Council
Leave granted and Bylaw read a firet time.
Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by Mr Sisman that the bylaw now before
The Council be read a second and third time this day and that rule
33 of bylaw No lo be suspended for that purpose
Carried.
Bylaw read a second time and Council went into Committee of the
whole on the same Mr Sisman in the chair.
Committee rose and reported the bylaw with blank filled with the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars.
Bylaw read a third time and passed.
Council Adjourned to meet at the oall of the mayor.
