The thirty first meeting of the Council for 1912 was held in the
Clerks Office on Saturday evening December 21st members present being
Mayor Baldwin, Reeve Knowles and Councillors Bassett Browning Davis
and Manning.
Leave was asked l&8¥8 to intrmduce a bylae to authorize the
Mayor and Treasurer to borrow money to meet the curren:rt expenditure
of the municipality untiltnuary 13th 1913 also a bylaw to authorize
\'IV'-~ . the Mayor and Treasurer o borrow1 ~o 9onstruct a drain on Connought
and Harrison Avenue and other property in the town of Aurora;-
Leave granted and bylaws read a first time.
M<?ved by Mr Manning seconded by Mr Browning that the Bylaws now
before the Council be read a second and third,time this day and that
rule 33 of bylaw No 10 be suspended for that purpose and that the
seal of the Corporation be attached to this resolution.
Carried.
Bylaws read a second time and Couhoil went into committee of the
whole on the same •
Committee rose and reported bylaws with blanks Filled.
Bylaws read a third time and passed
Moved by Mr Manning seconded by Mr Bassett that the Bylaw to prevent
dumping dirt and other rubbish on the streets of Aurora be now read
a third time and passed.
Carried.
Bylaw read a third ~ime and passed.
Council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
