MINUTES - Council - 19111106T W E N T Y -S E C 0 N D MEETING 0 F T H E C 0 U N C I L F 0 R I 9 1 1. The twenty second meeting of the Town Council was held in the Clerks office on Iionday Evening November 6th, the following members being present;-viz Eayor Baldwin, Reeve Y.nowles and Councillors Bassett Bond/ r,Turray, Scrivener and Steele. A communication was received from the Grand Trunk Ry in reply to a letter from the Clerk in regard to the drain from the hydrant at the Grand Trunk Station and the erection of electric bells at 7iellington street crossing and Yonge Street crossing south. A deputation was heard from the Fire Brigade regarding the purchase of hose, hook and ladder wagon and other supplies A communication was received from Wettlaufer Bros asking for the balance of :~40.00 due them on the mixing machine to be remitted. A request from I2r Harry Filkins was received fmr the privelege of addihg one more table in his pool room with out increasing his license fee. An application was received from Mr Daniel Cameron for the previl lege of constructing an open air ice skating rink in the Town Bark/ Bills were received from James Reynolds,cement W. L. Banbury, oiling streets Samuel George, lumber Canada Foundry Co Pipes Telephone Co, conversations W. H. Cockerell, carting Thos Carbery, drawing sand S. Williamson, balance of account Towns & Co, canvas for sidewalk Ough & Son, hardware .
