The eleventh meeting of the Council for I9IO was held on Monday even
ing July IIth, when the following members were present;-Viz'

Mayor Baldwin, reeve Knowles and Councillors Brodie, Bassett, Murray,
Scrivener and Stephenson. The Mayor in the chair.

A petition was received from the residents and ratepayers on Yonge
Street between Centre Street and Mr T. F. Cooks driveway into his prop
erty asking the council to oil that portion of Yang~ Street and charge
the cost to the assessed value of the property within said limits.

:Moved by Dr Scrivener seconded by Mr Stephenson that this Council
instruct the Aurora Citizens Band to hold all instruments owned by
this Corporation and that the Town will be responsible for any trouble
which may take place and that the seal of thee Corporation be attached
to this resolution •

Mtbved by Mr Bassett seconded by :.:r Brodie that the following bills
be paid. that the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer for the same
and that the seal of thee Corporation be attached to this resolution;-

Leave was asked to introduce a bylaw for watering or oiling Yonge
and Wellington streets and providing for the payment of the same.
Leave granted and bylaw read a first time.
M.oved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Murray that the Bylaw now before
the council be read a second and third time this day and that rule 33
of By~aw No IO be suspended for that purpose.
Carried.
Bylaw read a seconi time and Council went into committee of the
whole on the same Dr Scrivener in the chair.
Committee rose and reported bylaw with blanks filled.
Bylaw read a third time and passed.
Council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
