The tenth meeting o,g the Council for I9IO was held on Monday eveni
ing June 20th, the following members being present;-viz Mayor Baldwm
Reeve Knowles and Councillors Brodie, Bassett, Scrivener, Stephenson a
and Towns.
Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed.
A communication was received from Makins & Gregory of Stratford re
alledged injury tustained by one A. Carman at the corner of Yomge and
Wellington streets on May I7th, I9IO.
A report was received from the Waterworks Committee recommending
certain work to be done in connection with the waterworks.
On mo:tion Council wen;!; into committee of the whole on the report
Mr Bassett in the chair.
Committee rose and reported the report with certain amendments which
were adoptedby the Council.
:Moved by Mr Stephenson Seconded by Mr Towns that the pffer of
Mr R. L. Kennedy to sell to this Corporation the right of way across
his property for the extension of Temperance Street from Reuben Street
to Kennedy Street in this Corporation for the sum of Three Hundred
dollars (j~300.00) be and is hereby accepted and that the Mayor be andm
hereby authorized to issue an order on the Treasurer in favour of
Mr H. L. Kennedy for Three Hundred Dollars payable when the deed of
the said parcel of land is completed and that the seal of the Corporati
ion be attached to this resolution .
Carried.
Leave was asked to introduce a bylaw to regulate the granting of a
License for Pool, Bagatel, and Billiard Tables in this municipality.
Leave granted and By-law read a first time.
Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by Dr Scrivener that the bylaw now before
the Council be read a second and ethird time this day and that rule
33 of bylaw No IO be suspended for that purpose

Committee rose and reported bylaw with blanks filled.
By-Law reat a third time and passed.
Moved by l.lr Bassett seconded by 11r Knowles that the Mayor be and is
hereby instructed to consult Mr.Lennox in regard to the communication
of Makins & Gregory of Stratford re alleged injury to one A. Carman.
