DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Councillor Jones declared a possible Conflict of Interest in Report
PW91-056-207, due to ownership of a residence in the vicinity, and did not
take part in or vote on any questions in this regard, or attempt in any way
to influence the voting on such questions.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
#1. Moved by Councillor Ochalski Seconded by Councillor Timpson
THAT the content of the Agenda as circulated by the Clerk's Department
be approved as outlined herein.

CORRESPONDENCE AND PETITIONS
The Town of Richmond Hill re: Municipal Government Restructuring
#2. Moved by Mayor West Seconded by Councillor Ochalski
THAT the correspondence be received as information.

The Regional Municipality of York re: Taxicab Licensing
#3. Moved by Councillor Timpson Seconded by Councillor Weller
THAT the Regional Clerk be informed that the Town of Aurora does not
support the proposa 1 whereby the Region a 1 Corporation would assume
responsibility for taxicab licensing.

STAFF REPORTS
CL91-025-204 -Minor Modifications to Agendas
#4. Moved by Councillor Jones Seconded by Councillor Timpson
THAT the modifications to the Council Agenda Headings as shown on the
attached sample be endorsed for future use; and
THAT future Committee of the Whole Agendas incorporate a new section
which sets out the schedule of meetings of Council and its various
Committees on a monthly basis.

PW91-050-205 -Supply of Water to a Non-Serviced Area
#5. Moved by Mayor West Seconded by Councillor Pedersen
THAT private, residential water connections to the Yonge Street
watermain between Ridge Road and the CNR crossing be approved.

PW91-055-206 -Water Meter Requirements for Multi-unit Facilities
#6. Moved by Councillor Jones Seconded by Councillor Timpson
THAT staff be authorized to specify meter requirements for privately
owned multi-unit facilities, on a case by case basis.
CARRIED
PW91-056-207 -Reconstruction of Shoulders in the Wycliffe Subdivision
#7. Moved by Mayor West Seconded by Councillor Pedersen
THAT Council approve reconstruction of shoulders in the Wycliffe
subdivision. $24,000.00 has been set up in Account 343 for this work,
which involves the following streets; Steeplechase Avenue, Woodsend
Crescent, Skyview Lane, Bluegrass Drive and Hunter's Glen Road.

Councillor Jones, having previously declared a possible Conflict of Interest
in Report PW91-056-207, did not take part in the vote called for adoption of
this resolution.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
CL91-026-208-Revised Taxi By-law
#8. Moved by Mayor West Seconded by Councillor Ochalski
THAT the matter be referred to Staff to determine whether double
plating could be limited to Newmarket and Aurora and to determine
whether safeguards to the proposal may be created to ensure adequate
service to residents of Aurora.

which the Council Meeting of

THAT the Committee of the Whole Meeting be adjourned at 7:25 p.m.

Ms. Gloria Reszler, Resident re: Draft Official Plan
Councillor Mcintyre informed the Committee that Ms. Gloria Reszler would be
unable to attend as a delegate this evening.
STAFF REPORT
PL91-068-209 -Major Revisions to Draft Official Plan
#10. Moved by Mayor West Seconded by Councillor Pedersen
THAT the recommendations contained in the table prepared by Planning
Staff be incorporated into the Draft Official Plan;
THAT Staff review certain materials submitted by the public too late
for inclusion in the Appendix to the Agenda and distributed at the
meeting in order to determine whether additional recommendations need
be prepared for inclusion in the Draft Official Plan; and
THAT if no further inclusions are required, Council give first and
second reading to the Draft Official Plan, with the inclusions noted
in the table prepared by Planning Staff, at the next available Council
Meeting.
