EAC13 -05 – Environmental Advisory Committee Report, pg. 84 March 7, 2013 RECOMMENDED: THAT Council adopt the following Environmental Advisory Committee recommendations from the March 7, 2013 meeting: (1) Memorandum from the Manager of Environmental Initiatives Re: Smart Commute Program THAT Council consider the reinstatement of $10,000 support to Smart Commute Central York in recognition of the benefit to all citizens via reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by participating Aurora businesses, employees and citizens. (2) Memorandum from the Manager of Environmental Initiatives Re: Corporate Environmental Action Plan (CEAP) Progress Report 2012 THAT this memorandum and the attached CEAP Progress Report 2012 be forwarded to Council. NEW BUSINESS THAT a plan of action be requested from the Parks and Recreation Services department to control/eliminate Phragmites and Dog Strangling Vine. 7.
