The tvrenty eighth meeting of the Council was held in the Council
room on Monday evening September 20th.

The follovring members being present namely:-Mayor Baldvrin Reeve
Knovrles, Councillors Andrevrs, Bassett, Crockart & HRJ:l<:;oc;\1;.
The Mayor in the chair,
Mr Hancock asked leave to introduce a By-law to appoint a Court of
Revision to hear the appeals against the Local Improvement By-law.
Leave was granted and By-law was read a first time.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Andrews that the By-law now
before the Council be read a second and third time this day and that
rule 33 of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose.
Carried.
By-law read a second time the Council went into committee of the
whole Mr Hancock in the chair.
Committee rose and reported blanks filled with the names of the
Mayor, Reeve, Councillors Bassett, Hancock & Andrews,
By-law read a third time and passed.
There being no appeals against the Local Improvement By-lavrs the
Council considered the follovling bills namely:-
H.E.Proctor 1000 post cards $20.00
Toronto & York Radial Raihray Co. Power for Aug /15 278. 68
" " " " " " for Jan 1914 472.94
Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by Mr Hancock that the follovring acco-
unts be paid aud the Ms.yor issue orders on the Treasurer for the s&~ne
and that the seal o:t· the CorL'oration be attached tu this resolution.

Leave was asked to introduce a By-lavr to assess for County, School
and other purposes.
Leave grauted and By-law read a first time.
Moved by Mr Knowles seconded by Mr Crockart that By-law now before
the Council be read a second and third time this day and that rule 33
of By-law No 10 be suspended for that purpose.

Whereas it has been brought to the notice of the Municipal Council.
of the Town of Aurora that there is in the nevr Post Office a Room
sui table for Tovm purposes.
and wherea.s the Corporation is d.esirous of securing a sui table Room
for the purposes of the Corporation.
It is hereby moved by Mr Bassett seconded by Mr Hancock that the
Clerk of the Municipality be and he is hereby instructed to communicate

Room can be rented by the Municipality ,and the rent to be charged
therefor. C arried.
Council then adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
