MINUTES - Council - 19150201Fourth Meeting of the Council for 1915.
The fourth meeting of the Council for 1915 was held on Monday evening
F'eb. 1st. the following being present:-Mayor Baldwin, Couneillors
Andrews, Bassett, Crockart, Hancock, Hulse. & Murray. The Mayor in
the chair.
The following. communications were received and read:-
E' .A. Gaby, Hydro Electric Engineer re examination of l~lcctric. Inspector
.Worman Carins and three others respecting nuisance by the Collis Leather
Co. contaminating the stream running through the T(lwn.
Aemilius Jarvis re ~efientures.
The following deputations were heard:-
Gollie Cockf,rill Co/ re Bonus and relieving them of the Mortgage held by
the Town.
Clutch and Pulley Works re electric Power.
The following Bills were received and road viz:-

be paid and th~tt the Mayor issue orders on the Treasurer for the s8llle
and that the Corporation Seal be attached to this resolution. Carried.
A Bill waE received and read from Rev/ G. S. Des pard for 032.28 re the
King· family.

G.S. "'espard l~32.28 be paid and that the Mayor issue an order on the
Treasurer for the same and the seal o1· the Corporation be attached to
this resolution. Carried.

Leave wae granted and the By-Law read a first time.

before the Council be rc.ad a second and third time this day and that
rule 33 of By-Law No/ 10 be suspended for that purpose. Carried.
By-Law read a second time and the Council went into Committee of the
whole , W.J. Bassett in the chair.
Committee rose and reported blank filled with the name of C.A. Petch.
By-Law read a third time and passed.
Leave was asked to introduce a by-law to appoint a High School Trustee.
Leave granted and by-law read a first time.

before the Council be read a second and third time this day and that
Rule 33 of by-law No/ 10 be .suspended for thatp~rpose. Carried.
By-Law read a second time and the Council went into Comrr;ittee of

Committee rose and reported the bland filled with the name of Mr.
G.L. Alexander.
By-Law read a third time and passed.

be a committee to purchase a Typ®writer for the use of th® Corporation.

The Property Cor:mli ttee brought in a report as instructed at the last
mseting of the Council re Clerk's office.
