MINUTES - Council - 19150111,, \ l. 1915 Trle first meeting of the Council for 1915 was held in the Council ROom on Monday, January 11th. at 11 o'clock in the forenoon. The following Members presented themselves and signed the necessary • declarations of Office and took th'eir seats. W.J. BAldwin, Mayor, W,J,Knowles, Reeve. Councillors. W. T .Andrews, W.J. Bessett, Jas. Crockart, A.E. Hancock, T.H.M. Hulse, A. Murray, The Clerk reported vote on By-Law to borrow $8000.00 for payment of of :;)3000.00 balance due on Eleetric Pumps and $5000,00 balance due for the, installation of the Electric Light System. North Ward , for the By-Law 112, against the By-Law 16/ Centre Ward do/ South Ward do. 9o , 139 , 341 Maj orHy for By-Law 299. do 9. do. 17 42 Communications were received from Dr/ W.J. Stevenson, Local Medical Health Officer re Sewerage. Reg. R. Matson re Electric Light Poles also F.A. Gaby re passing Electrical By-Law. Leave was asked to introduce a b;y-I.aw to arpoint Auditors to audit Municipal and School Accounts for 1914. Leave granted and By-Law reat'l a first time. !>loved by W. J. Bassett, seconded by T .H .M. Hulse that the By-Law now before the Council be read a second and third time this day and that Rule 33 or· By-Law No • 10 be suspended for that purpose. Carried. Leave was asked t:o introduce· a By-Law to s.r:point a member of the Local Board of Health. Leave v.as granted and By-Law read a first time. Moved by W.J.Bassett, seconded by T.H.M. Hulse that the By-Law now before the Counc_il be read a second and third time this day and that Rule 33 of By-Law No. 10 be suspended for that purpose. Cart Carried.
