Minutes of tast meeting read and confirmed. A deputation from the Fire Brigade was present and asked for the use of the Town ?ark for .Tuly Fihrst in which to hold their ·annual Demonstration. The Agreement between the l'osi tive Clutch ana "ulley Works Co \ ' was presented by the Clerk for signature. Moved by &emanning Seconded by l':!r Knowles that the request of the Firemen for the use of the Town Park be and they are hereby granted the free use of the park for the First of July 1912 for to h,; lC!. their annual sports • Carried• l.1oved by Mr Ifnowles seconded by l~r Manning that the Hayor and Clerk of this Corporation·be and they are hereby Authorized to sign the agreement with the Positive Clutch and Pulley Works Company Limited bearing date :!.iay 28th, 1912 and affix the Corporate seal thereto and that the seal of the Corporation be o.ttacb.ed to this resolution. Carried. Moved by Il[r Knowles seconded by J'.!r Manning that the Mayor be and he is hereby instructed to purchase 300 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose for the use of the Fire Department and that the seal of the Corporatin Be attached to this resolution. Carried. Moved by Mr Bassett seconded by J.lr :ratchell that the Water Works. Committee be and they are hereby instructed to lay a 2 inch pipe on Wellington Street East from the end of the 4 inch main to the property belonging to Mr M Shulman and that the seal of the Corpora tion be attached to this resolution. Carried ' Fourteenth Meeting Continued teave was asked to introduce a bylaw to accept a plan of a part of lot 79 which has been surveyed into lots by Mr Walter Collis. Bylaw read a second time and council weat into committee of the whole on the same l\'Ir IU tchell in the chair. Committee rose and reported. bylaw with blanks filled. Bylaw read a third time and passed. Council adjourned to meet at the call of the r,!ayor.
