J. Bassett, George T/ Browning, :P. Delahaye and J. C. Querrie. The Iliayor in the chair. ! llinutes of last meeting read and confirmed. A communication was recoived from James Ryan making application for a licnse for a Bowling Alley to be placed in the Vi ells Block on ',';ellington Street. From Robert Reynolds making ap11lication on behalf of the ;.;ethoiiist Church for a water service to run the organ which as about to be installed. The Clerk luid on the table the petitions for the submission of a Loael Option By-I"aw to be voted on on January 3rd next together with his deolaratlh of the number of names on said petition as -{,ell as the number of names on the Voters ::-.ist who signed the petition. Carried. Leave was asked to introduce a bylaw to prohibit the sale by retail of spirituous, fermented or other manufactured liquors in the L:unicipali ty. of the Town of Aurora. Leave granted and Bylaw read a first time.
