The uinth meeting of the Council for !909 was held in the Council
Chamber on Monday evening May lOth, Members present. the Mayor, Reeve,
and Couneillors, Bond, Bassett, Browning, Delahaye, Hastings and
Querrie. The. Mayor in the chair.
Minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed.
A communieation wsa received from Dr lbomas Scrivner making a~plication
for the use of the Park on behalf of the Lacross Club for holding a
Demonstration on Dominion :Qay, July Ist.

committee be and they are hereby instructed to have the Park fence
repaired as soon as possible,

Leave was Asked to introduce a By.lay to appoint a Medical Ilealth
Officer.
Leave granted and By-law read a first time.
Moved by Mr Knowles seeonlled by Mr Brewing that the by-law now before
Jaj) the Council be read a second and third time this day anll that rule 33

the whole on the same, :Mr. Delahaye in the chair.
