The Court :for the Revision o:f the Assessment Roll :for Aurora
:for the year 1916 was held in the Council Room Monday evening
June 5th. the :following members being present:..--N_amely Mayor
Baldwin, Councillors Andrews, Crockart~nc{ Hancock. Mayor Bald1"1in
was elected chairman, wl:j.en the :following appeals were heard.
H. J. Wight appealed against his assessment on Kennedy Street
assessment to high. Appeal not sustained.
R. R. Matson appealed that the assessment on his laud otl Kennedy
Street was to high. Appeal not sustained.
William Case appealed that the assessment of his .vacent .. lots on
Tyler Street was to high. Appeal not sustained.
Wm Hastings appealed against his assessment on the corner o:f
Tyler & George Streets , as improperly assessed. Appeal not sustained.
Wm Hardwick complained that the assessment o:f his house on
Gurnett Street was to high on account o:f Rink, and School vacent
lot being in :front o:f his property. Appeal not sustained and
assessement confirmed.
Everett Petrie appealed against on Income claming that he did
not waive his exemption this year. Assessment confirmed.
Court was then adjourned.
