The Court for the revision of the Assessment Roll for the
year 1914 was held in the Council Room on Monday evening June 1st
the following members being present Viz Mayor Baldwin Reeve Knowls
and Councillors Crockart, Coulter and Murray.
On motion Mayor Baldwin was elected chairman.
Rev W. R. Woodsworth Appealed against the assessment of his
property on Kennedy street as too high.
Appeal not sustained and the assessment of $1000 on the land
and $2800 on the d~elling XKBia confirmed.
Mr George Henry appealed against the assessment of Business
Tax of$100 as too high not doing any blacksmithing of any accou
nt. The apppal was not sustained and the assessment confirmed.
Miss Jones Yonge Street North appealed againsj the assessment
of her property as too high.
Appeal not sustained and assessment confirmed.
Mrs Heisie Wellington Street East appealed that the assessment
of her property was too high.
Appeal not sustained and assessment confirmed.
William Campbell, the owner of the Creamery appealed that
the assessment on.the property was too high.·
Appeal sustained and the business assessment of $100 ordered
to be struck off, !healance of the assessment was confirmed.
Arthur Bonisteel, Temperance Street south appealed that
the assessment of h:fs. property on that street was too high.

The Court then adjourned to meey at the call of the Chair
