RECOMMENDED:
THAT Council receive report CAO12-002; and
THAT the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary
agreements, including any and all documents and ancillary agreements
required to give effect to same, to enable the Town’s participation in
PowerStream’s Roving Energy Manager Program.
2. CFS12-001 – 2012 Interim Property Tax Levy pg. 6
RECOMMENDED:
THAT report CFS12-001 be received; and
THAT By-law No. 5399-12 be adopted to authorize the levying of interim
tax amounts on all rateable properties and to establish installment due
dates.
3. CLS12-001 – Pending List pg. 9
RECOMMENDED:
THAT Council receive report CLS12-001 for information.
4. IES12-001 – Award of Tender Tender IES2011-90 – Maintenance pg. 26
and Emergency Response to Sanitary Lift and Water
Booster Stations and Emergency Generators
RECOMMENDED:
THAT report IES12-001 be received; and
THAT Tender IES2011-90 – Maintenance and Emergency Response to
Sanitary Lift and Water Booster Stations and Emergency Generators be
awarded to 709125 Ontario Limited o/a Pump System Interfacing for three
(3) years at the tender price of $356,368.14, excluding taxes; and

5. PL12-003 – Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law pg. 30

RECOMMENDED:
THAT report PL12-003 be received; and
THAT Application to Amend the Official Plan (OPA 34) File D09-01-11 be
approved, to redesignate the subject lands from “Private Open Space” to
“Estate Residential” to permit the future creation of two estate residential
lots and to reduce the lot frontage minimum; and
THAT Application to Amend the Zoning By-law File D14-05-11 be
approved, to rezone the subject lands from “Major Open Space (O)” to a
site specific “Estate Residential (ER) Exception Zone” to permit the future
creation of two estate residential lots including a reduction in the lot
frontage minimum; and
THAT by-laws to adopt the Official Plan Amendment and implement the
zoning by-law amendment be presented at a future Council Meeting for
enactment.
6. PR12-001 – Approval of Tree Protection By-law pg. 47
RECOMMENDED:
THAT report PR12-001 be received; and
THAT staff be directed to publicize notice of the revised Draft Tree
Protection By-law, in the local media, Town of Aurora website and in all
municipal facilities for the purposes of allowing the public and stake
holders with an opportunity to review the proposed By-law and provide
comment; and

THAT following this public consultation period, staff report back to Council
prior to May 2012 with a final draft Tree Protection By-law with
recommendations for Councils consideration in enacting the final revised
By-law.
7. PR12-002 – Award of Tender PRS2011-93 – Fleury and Machell pg. 70
Parks Lighting and Electrical Work
RECOMMENDED:
THAT report PR12-002 be received; and
THAT Tender PRS2011-93 – Fleury and Machell Parks Lighting and
Electrical Work be awarded to Nadalin Electric Co. (Ont.) Inc. in the
amount of $151,500.00 plus taxes; and
THAT the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary
Agreement including any and all documents and ancillary agreements
required to give effect to same.
