BYLAW - To Purchase the Canadian Bank of Comerce Property - 19430405 - 89043• BY-LAW NUMBER 170. of the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora. BY-LAW TO PURCHASE THE CANADIAN BANK OF COJ\IMERCE PROPERTY, YONGE STREET, AURORA. WHEREAS The Municipal Council of the <lorporation of the Town of Aurora deem 1 t necessary and expeciient to purchase the canadian Bank of Commerce property, Yonge Street, Aurora. THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That The Canadian Bank of Commerce, Yonge Street, Aurora, property, being composed of All and Singular that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Aurora, in the County of York and being composed of FIRST l?art of the North half of Lot One according to a Plan filed in the I!egiStry Office for the North Riding of the County of York, as Number Sixty-eight, and which said parcel may be &?.~-~ more particularly described as follows: -COMMENCING at a point in the • easterly limit of Yonge Street where it is intersected by a line between north and south halves of said Lot One -Thence Northerly along the easterly limit of Yonge Street six feet to a mark cut on concrete walk, at a distance of two feet eight and three-quarter inches measured southerly, along the easterly limit of Yonge Street from the south face of wall of brick store standing in 1920 on north part of said Lot One -Thence Easterly parallel to the southern face of said store forty nine feet nine and one quarter inches to the inters~ction with the line between north and south halves of said Lot One -Thence Westerly, along the line between north and south halves of said Lot one, fifty feet two inches to the place of beginning. SECONDLY;-'!he south half of Lot number One on the east side of Yonge Street on Registered Plan Number sixty-eight (excepting a portion twelve feet wide across the east and reserved for a road). TOGETHER with a right of way in common with others in a road leading from Victoria Street across Lot number Two according to Registered Plan 68, to the rear of the said premises be purchased at or for the sum of Six Thousand Seven Hundred (~6700.00) Dollars, the said sum, plus or minus adjustments, to be paid in cash. on closing. 2. That, in order to consummate the purchase of the said property, the ~ C/-J1.'Jt- Mayor and Treasurer are and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue a cheque on behalf of the Corporation of the Town for the amount of the said purchase price and to ·execute such papers and take such other action as may be necessary. l__ " ' -2- 3.
