FOR LICENSING, RSGULATING AND GOVERNING PERSONS WHO FOR HIS OR HER GAiN
KEEP BILLIARD, POOL OR BAGATELLE TABLES.
TH'CREFORE THE MUlii!OIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE.'
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. No person shall keep or have in his possession in the Town
of Aurora, for gain or hire, any billiard, pool or bagatelle table or bowling
alley, or keep or have any such table or bowling alley, whetbar used or not,
in a house or place of public entertainment or resort, without obtaining a
license so to do from the Corpor,ation. I

desiring to keep or have in his possession, for gain or hire, any billiard,
pool or bagateillle table or bowli'<'S_.Ill_-ley, on applicatiog, in writing, being

filed with the Clerk of the Corporation and on the folloN i'<'S license fee being
paid with the filing of the application.
3. The Council may grant or reject any such applications, but, if
rejected, the fees paid with the application shell be refunded to the applicant. I ,jJ 4. The Council rrRY, at any t 1me, revoke any lie ense granted under
this by-law, and if revoked because of any violation of this by-law, the fee
paid fb r the license shall be forfeited.
It shall not be lawfc<l for the owner, keeper or person in charge fl•
of any billiard, J?;r .. pool room or bowling alley, so licensed, to allow betting, ,11#~ •
gambling or tre putting up of any money or valuable consideration which rray be )T•
won or lost on any game, or allow the throwing of dice, playing of cards or
other fonn of gamblingl.
6. It shall not be lawfUl fbr any owner, keeper or person in cherge ~'
of any billiard or pool room or bowling alley, so licensed, to allow such billiard rr¢
or pool room or bowling alley to be open between the hours of ll.30 o • clock P
in the evening and 7 o'clock in the morning of any week d"ff nor to be open
during Sunday.

7. Any Police Officer or Inspector mcy, at any time, enter any
room or place, Where billiard or pool tables or pawling alley are Jrept
or reputed to be kept to see that the provisions of this by-law are strictly
enforced.
The L~cense, fee far each billiard, pool anl bagatelle table shall ;IJl

9. The owner of or any person in charge of any billiard, pool or
bagatelle table or bowling alley, or any person whatsoever, violating or con-
travening any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence
