BY-LAW TO PROHIBIT THE RlTNNING AT LARGE OF LOGS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
THE TOWN OF AURORA,
WHEREAS by Revised Stabtues of Ontario, 1937, Chapter
3 35, by-laws may be passed by Councils of Towns prohibiting or regulating
the running at large of dogs, and ibr seizing and impounding and killing
same.
AND \'11!BREAS tIll Council of the Town of Aurora considers
it expedient to enlarge upon the existi!lg regulations governing till running
at large of dogs within the limits of the said Town,
THEREFORE THE MIDTIC IPAL COUNCIL OF TH!i) CORPORATION OF Tlll!l
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

3. That, in the event of the owner of any dogs 1:mpounded
aforesaid, makiug application for possession of his dog or dogs, the dog
catcher or other official aforesaid, rray, in his discretion, deliver the
said dog or dogs over to the owner, ori payment by tre owner of the costs
fixed at the rate of~ doll art per day.

5. Any person contravening any provisions ·of this by-lam
shall be guilty of an offence am. shall be liable to a fine of ?ifty
($50.00) Dollars, exclusive of costs, and any such fim shall be recoverable
under The Sumnary Convictions Act.
5. By-Law Number 668 and any other by-law or parts of by-laws
inconsistent with the provisions of this by-law.are hereby repealed.
