Mayor West absent due to a personel matter. Councillor Stewart absent due to attending a conference. Councillor Pedersen absent. STAFF MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE Chief Administrative Officer, Municipal Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Director of Planning, and Director of Public Works. DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST There were no disclosures of interest under the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, 1983. APPROVAL OF AGENDA #1. Moved by Councillor Jones Seconded by Councillor Ochalski THAT the content of the Agenda as circulated by the Clerk's Department be approved as outlined herein. CARRIED CORRESPONDENCE AND PETITIONS Town of East Gwillimbury re: Urban Designations #2. Moved by Councillor McKenzie Seconded by Councillor Ochalski THAT the matter be referred to the Director of Planning to provide the appropriate information requested for the Regional Official Plan. CARRIED STAFF REPORTS CL91-015-153-Revised Pool Enclosure and Fence Height By-law #3. Moved by Councillor McKenzie Seconded by Councillor Weller THAT Council approve in principle the attached draft Fence By-law. CARRIED CL91-016-154-Revised Taxi Cab By-law #4. Moved by Councillor Ochalski Seconded by Councillor Weller THAT review of the draft Taxi Cab By-law be deferred to the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for June 3, 1991. Moved by Councillor McKenzie Seconded by Councillor Weller THAT By-law 3261-91 be revised prior to third reading to change Article 1.7 ''Container'' to exclude the requirement that disposable plastic garbage bags must be made of clear plastic; and THAT By-law 3261-91 be revised to require that clear plastic disposable bags be used for the collection of organic yard materials as defined under Intermittently Collected Refuse listed in Schedule B to the By-law. CARRIED QUESTIONS BY MEMBERS Councillor Timpson Councillor Ochalski ADJOURNMENT #6. Moved by Councillor Weller Requested that outdated signs relating to land development be removed from certain locations in the Town. -Noted that such signs often spell "amendment" incorrectly and asked if this could be corrected in the future.
