4.2 Closed Session Report No. PDS25-042 - Property Matter - 27 Mosley
Street (Victoria Hall) April 2025
A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the
municipality or local board as per Section 239(2)(c) of the Municipal Act,
2001.
The Chief Administrative Officer provided a brief overview of the report.
There was discussion and questions of the planned style of the restaurant
as well as market rental prices. There was further discussion regarding the
terms of the least agreement.
Council agreed that the final terms of the lease must come back to a
closed session meeting for Council approval and at that meeting, multiple
options should be presented.

Moved by Councillor Gilliland
Seconded by Councillor Kim
1. That Council Closed Session Report No. PDS25-042 be received; and
2. That staff be authorized to negotiate with to operate a
restaurant at 27 Mosley Street; and
3. That multiple options for a lease arrangement be brought back to
Council for final approval.

That Council Closed Session be adjourned; and
That Council rise and report from Closed Session at 6:50 p.m.
