By-law Number 6772-26
Being a By-law to appoint a Deputy Clerk.
Whereas under subsection 228(2) of the MunicipalAct, 2001, s.o. 2001, c. 25, as
amended (the l'Act"), a municipality may appoint deputy clerks who have all the powers
and duties of the clerk under the Act and any other act or statute;
And whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora (the "Town") deems
it necessary and expedient to appoint a Deputy Clerk;
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora hereby enacts as
follows:
1. Daniel Ruberto be and is hereby appointed as Deputy Clerk for the Town.
2.The Deputy Clerk may be referred to and may use the title of IlDeputy Town
Clerk".
3. The Deputy Clerk shall have all the powers and duties of the Clerk under the Act,
or under any other act or statute, and such other duties as assigned to the Clerk.
4. By-law Number 661 5-24 be and is hereby repealed.
5. This by-law shall come into full force and effect on April 8, 2026.
