The Deputy Town Clerk called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.

1. 69 James Henry Drive – Orders to Comply CE20190959
The Chair outlined the process that would be followed in the conduct of the
appeal hearing.
Mr. Eric Schafranek, By-law Officer introduced the matter before the
Committee and presented exhibits and made submissions with respect to the
state of the interior and exterior of the property, and outlined the needed
cleaning and the proposed timelines.

The Appellant, Ms. Galina Pauwels was in agreement with the conditions of
the Order to Comply, and noted that the tenants would require assistance to
complete the cleaning outlined in the Order, and requested an extension of
time to make arrangements.
The Committee sought clarification on the requested extension of time and the
progress of the cleaning since the last inspection, and the appellant provided
clarification and noted that it is their intent to arrange for an extreme cleaning
of the property by the end of November.
The Committee recessed to deliberate the matter at 6:25 p.m. and reconvened
at 6:34 p.m.
The Vice Chair stated that upon hearing the evidence of the Appellant and
Town staff on behalf of The Corporation of Town of Aurora and reviewing any
evidences submitted, it was the decision of the Property Standards
Committee:

Seconded by Michele Boyer
1. That the Property Standards Order No. CE20190959, dated August 6,
2019 be confirmed in its entirety; and
2. That the property be brought to a condition of compliance with the
prescribed standards in the said Order on or before December 6, 2019.

The Vice Chair provided the rationale behind the Committee’s decision.
