I have reviewed the published document.
I would like to object to this change.
1) I do not think a Public Place of Worship/Institution is appropriate for in this area.
2) I know the intension is to start small and limited to Wed, Sat & Sunday Worship sessions with
limited guests. But what if guest traffic increase in the future.
3) I know other Buddhist Worship Place in the city (i.e. Bayview and Steeles) generate a lot of
unwanted attraction, traffic and noise to near by streets.
4) Guests of 40-120 visitors in any time of year is unacceptable. We like to keep this as a quite
residential area.
5) If current owner decided to sale to other worship origination. They can increase operation then
we cannot object to it if the zoning is approved.
6) I think this section of Leslie is for residential use only. Any sign-age, attraction, decoration
and noise are inappropriate and undesirable. (we have seen before on this property).
7) This section of road is very hilly and narrow, a lot of cyclists and joggers make use of it.
Unlike Bayview and Yonge any increase in traffic may cause accident.
Thanks,
Alex Tsui.
Athena Tsui.
RE: REF: D09.06•06and D14-18-06._ PLANNING APPLICKPION FOR KARMA
TEKCHEN ZABSAL LING CENTRE ON 13900 LESLIE STREET
Dear Ms, Deborah Giamteua
Thank you for your letter dated 29 March in which you informed our family of [lie
above planning application, I am replying to strongly object to this application as it
contravenes the objectives of Aurora Bylaw Services division as 11 is stated on your website
that the "By-law Services divisions promotes health, safety and a harmonious commtill lty".
We believe that with the building of a two•s(orey dwelling and guest house immediate to our
neighbourhood, it would be neither safe nor harmonious,
Despite the high cost of property and very high property tares (over $10,000.00), the
residents living in the immediate area to the proposed property sacrificed many things to live
(here for a very important common objective, I believe this is to live in a quiet safe
neighbourhood away from the overcrowded city. l-lowcvcr, with the exit and entrance to a
urge guest house facing the entrance to our small neighbourhood, the area will be
overcrowded with vehicles of constam visilors,As Iherc arc many people jogging and cycling
on Bovair Trail and Leslie Street adjacent to it, an additional volume of cars coming in and
out would, in my opinion, make the area far more dangerous for the residents, Furthermore,
assuming that the guests to the meditation centre will not only consist of a few regular
visitors but also countless number of irregular visitors, there would be no possible way of
knowing the identities of those residing very close to us, For these reasons, with the proposed
building on the property, our neighbourhood will not only feel unsafe but it will also
overcrowd the roads leading to the entrance to our neighbourhood, which will break the
harmony of our small community
I iluagine you will receive many similar objections frum other residents living nearby and I
trust you will refuse this application on the basis that they most definitely contravene the
objective of the Aurora Bylaw Services,
Please can you inform me that you have received (his letter and have logged it as an officia
objection and keep me informed as to the ou►come?

Yours sincerely,
HyeoksoonKwa
