CARRIED 5.MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 2.Memorandum from Planner Re:Application for Site Plan Approval (Submission #2),Leswell Investments Ltd.,1452 Wellington Street East,Part of Lots 3 and 4, Plan 525,File No.:SP-2015-04 Staff gave an overview of the proposed site plan and accessibility components. The Committee expressed concerns regarding the location of the accessible parking spaces,placement of curb cuts,size of the elevator lobby,type of doors used to access the elevator lobby,and snow removal and storage in the parking lot. CARRIED 7.NEW BUSINESS The Committee inquired about whether there is any follow-up to suggestions made by the Committee in regards to applications for site plan approval.Staff explained the application process. The Committee inquired about the status of the Aurora Family Leisure Complex.Staff advised that rear door fob access is available for those who request it,and that staff is working toward making the building more accessible. The Committee noted that National Access Awareness week is June 5 to June 11, 2016,and expressed interest in the possibility of organizing an event.
