BEING A BY-LAW to amend
Parking By-law 4574-04.T as
amended, with respect to
parking on Pinnacle Trail
WHEREAS Section 11 (1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O.2001 C.25, as amended
authorizes a municipality to pass by-laws for the regulation of traffic on highways;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
enacted By-law 4574-04.T, as amended, being the Parking and Traffic Control By-
law;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
deems it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 4574-04.T, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Schedule 1 respecting No Parking Anytime to By-law 4574-04.T, as
amended, is hereby amended by the deletion thereof of the following:
COLUMN 1 – COLUMN 2 – SIDE COLUMN 3 - FROM: COLUMN 4 -
HIGHWAY TO: PROHIBITED
TIMES OR DAYS
Pinnacle Trail West/ East/North From: a point 90 meters north No Parking Anytime
/South (inside) of St. John’s Sideroad
To: a point 115 meters west
of Rush Road (south leg)
2. THAT Schedule I respecting No Parking Anytime to By-law 4574-04.T, as
amended, is hereby amended by the addition thereof of the following:
COLUMN 1 – COLUMN 2 – SIDE COLUMN 3 - FROM: COLUMN 4 -
HIGHWAY TO: PROHIBITED
TIMES OR DAYS
Pinnacle Trail East From: a point 90 meters north No Parking Anytime
of St. John’s Sideroad
To: a point 122 meters north
of St. John’s Sideroad
Pinnacle Trail East/South From: a point 210 meters north No Parking Anytime
West/North of St. John’s Sideroad
(inside) To: a point 115 meters west
of Rush Road (south leg)
3. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force upon third reading
and when properly worded signs have been erected and are on display.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 17TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2006.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 17TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2006.
