BYLAW - General Amendment to Fees - 20060711 - 482206FTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4822-06.F BEING A BY-LAW to amend By- law 4759-06.F being a by-law establish a schedule of fees for applications, permits, the sale of Town publications, and to prescribe service charges for administrative matters. (Replacing Schedules "A", "B", "Cif, "D", "E'', "F" and "G'') WHEREAS Section 391 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as amended, authorizes municipalities to impose fees and charges; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora has enacted By-law 4759-06.F as part of its an11ual corporate review of fees and services charges; AND WHEREAS the Goods and Services Tax (GST) was reduced by 1% by the Federal Government of Canada; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it necessary and expedient to establish a new schedule of fees for certain municipal services as a result of the GST reduction; AND WHEREAS the requirements of notice pursuant to Ontario Regulation 244/02 have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the fees for certain municipal services as set out in Schedules "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", "F" and "G" be deleted; and 2. THAT the schedules attached hereto shall apply for certain publications and administrative matters and shall form part of By-law 4759-06.
