BEING A BY-LAW to
amend By-law No. 2213-78,
as amended, being the
Zoning By-law of the Town
of Autora.

WHEREAS Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended
provides that the Council of a local Municipality may pass a Zoning By-law;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacted by-
law 2213-78 being the Zoning By-law, as amended;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it
advisable to further amend By-law 2213-78, as amended;
AND WHEREAS Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, provides that
the Council of a local municipality may in a zoning By-law authorize the temporary
use of land, buildings or structures for any purpose set out therein that is otherwise
prohibited by the zoning By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
AURORA HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the zoning category applying to the lands shown in hatching on
Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law, is hereby
amended.
2. THAT the following shall delete and replace Sections 23.A.10.1 and
23.A.10.2.3 of the "Industrial Commercial (H)C5-5 Exception Zone."
23.A.1 0.1 Uses Permitted
In addition to the uses permitted within Section 23.A.1, the lands
delineated as (H)C5-5 on Schedule "A" of this by-law may be
_used for a Temporary Sales Trailer/Office provided that such
sales office shall be permitted for a period of time not exceeding
April12, 2008.

4. THAT no part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the
Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-
law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law No. 4655-05.0
By-law Number 4655-05.0 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend rown of Aurora By-law 2213-78, as amended, to rezone the subject lands
to permit an additional use and associated development standards to the existing
"Industrial Commercial (H)C5-5 Exception Zone." The rezoning will permit the use of
the lands for a sales trailor for a temporary period not exceeding three years from the
date of the passing of the by-law. The Holding provisions of the by-law will continue
to apply for the development of the lands for all other permitted uses and zone
standards as prescribed within the "Industrial Commercial C5-5 Exception" zone.
