BEING A . BY-LAW to
amend By-law No. 2213-78,
as amended, being the
Zoning By-law of the Town
of Aurora.

WHEREAS Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended
provides that the Council of a local Municipality may pass a Zoning By-law;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacted by-
law 2213-7~ being the Zoning By-law, as amended;
AND WHE.REAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it
advisable tb further amend By-law 2213-78, as amended;

AND WHEREAS Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, cP.13, provides that
the Council of a local municipality may in a zoning By-law authorize the temporary
use of land, buildings or structures for any purpose set out therein that is otherwise
prohibited by the zoning By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
AURORA HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the zoning category applying to the lands shown in hatching on
Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law, is hereby
amended.
2. THA:T the following shall delete and replace Section 28.3.5 of the "Institutional
(1-5)1Exception Zone."
28.3!.5 The existing two storey dwelling, the portable classroom building
with enclosed connecting walkway, and the portable classroom
building with connecting vestibule/washrooms, on the subject
lands, being part of Lot 80, Concession 1, E.Y.S, shall be used
for a Commercial, Private or Public School and for a day care
centre, for a period no longer than three years from the date of
the passing of this By-law.
3. THAT no part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the
Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-
law VIlli take effect from the day of passing thereof.

By-law Nurr)ber 4707-05.0 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend \own of Aurora By-law 2213-78, as amended, to rezone the subject lands
for the continuation of the use of the lands for a Private School and to add a day care
centre use. • The rezoning will permit the subject lands to accommodate the
aforementiqned uses for a temporary period not exceeding three years from the date
of the passi;ng of the by-law.
