BYLAW - Rezoning Willow Pond - 20031216 - 448603D(Willow Pond, File D14-05-03) THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4486-03.0 BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law 2213-78; AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 2213-78, as amended; NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the zoning category applying to the lands shown in hatching on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby amended from "Industrial Service (M3) Zone" to "General Industrial (M2-8) Exception Zone". 2. THAT the following be added as Section 26.4 "General Industrial (M2-8) Exception Zone." Section 26.4.9 General Industrial (M2-8) Exception Zone The lands shown zoned M2-8 on Schedule "A" shall be used in accordance with the provisions of Section 26 provided the following: i) Notwithstanding Section 26.1, the lands may only be used for a commercial self storage facility. ii) Notwithstanding Section 24.2.4, two (2) loading spaces are required. 4. THAT no part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. PANIZZA, TOWN CLERK Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law No. 4486-03.0 By-law Number 4486-03.0 has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, to rezone the subject lands, Part of Lot 34, Registrar's Compiled Plan 10328 from "Industrial Service (M3) Zone" to "General Industrial (M2-8) Exception Zone." The By-law will permit a self-storage facility on the subject lands. I also certify that the 20 day appeal period expired on the 7th day of January 2004, and to this date no notice of appeal of the By-law has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
