THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
By-law Number 4427-03.D
BEING A BY-LAW to
amend By-law No. 2213-78
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law 2213-78;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
deems it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 2213-78, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF
THE TOWN AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT By-law No. 4427-03.0 shall apply to the lands known as Lots 16,
17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 19T-88031, Part of Lot 79, Concession 1, WYS,
shown in hatching on Schedule "A" attached hereto forming part of this
By-law is hereby amended from "Environmental Protection (EP) Zone" to a
"Environmental Protection (EP-16) Zone."
2. THAT the following be added as Section 30.3.17 "Environmental
Protection (EP-16) Exception Zone"
Section 30.3.17 Environmental Protection (EP-16) Exception Zone
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 30.1 the lands shown as
Environmental Protection (EP-16) Exception Zone may be used for
decks and fences provided that all decks are open from the ground
to the under side of the deck structure with the exception of
supporting columns and/or posts as required by the Ontario
Building Code. All fencing shall be constructed of vertical slates
that have a gap of no less than 7.5 em and no less than 50% of the
face of the fence remains open and does not obstruct the flow of
water during Regional Storm flood conditions.
3. THAT no part of this By-law shall come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions,
the By-law shall take effect from the day of passing thereof.

AFFIDAVIT UNDER SECTION 34(22) OF THE PLANNING ACT (1990)
I, Bob Panizza, hereby certify that the notice for By-law #4427.03.0 of the Corporation of
the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the Corporation on the 22"ct day of April,
2003. Notice was given on the 28th day of April, 2003, in the manner and form and to the
persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation 199/96, as amended, made by the Lieutenant
Governor-in-Council under Section 34(18) of the Planning Act (1990). I also certify that the
20-day appeal period expired on the 18th day of May, 2003, and to this date there have
been no appeals under Section 34(19) of the By-law filed with the Clerk.
