BEING A BY-LAW to
amend By-law 2213-78
WHEREAS the lands affect by this By-law are subject to a Holding (H) prefix in
conjunction with a zoning category, as permitted under Section 34 and 36 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990;
AND WHEREAS Council is satisfied that the conditions for the removal of the Holding
"(H)" prefix have been met in respect of the subject lands;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems
it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 2213-78, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the "(H)" prefix preceding the "Detached Dwelling Second Density
Residential (R2-74) Exception Zone", and "Row Dwelling Residential (R6-48)
Exception Zone", applying to the lands (Phase I) shown on Schedule "A"
attached hereto and forming part of this By-law, is hereby removed.
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and be effective upon
final passage thereof.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME THIS 131h DAY OF MAY 2003.

PASSAGE OF AMENDING BY-LAW UNDER
SECTION 36 OF THE PLANNING ACT
I, Bob Panizza, hereby certify that the notice of Council's intention to consider passing an
amending by-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13 as amended,
to remove the holding prefix was given on the 29th day of April 2003, in the manner and
form and to the persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation 199/96, as amended, made by
the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under subsection 36(4) of the Planning Act. By-law#
4434-03.0 of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora, was passed by the Council of the
Corporation on the 13th day of May 2003. I also certify an objection period was not
applicable and the provisions of this By-law came into force and effect upon the date of
final passage.
