BEING A BY-LAW to amend
By-law No. 2213-78
Heathwood Homes
Driveway Widths
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2213-78,
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1) THAT By-law No. 4338-02.D shall apply to all lands within the Heathwood
Homes subdivision, located northwest of Bayview Avenue and Stone
Road, zoned "Semi-Detached and Duplex Dwelling Third Density
Residential (R3-16) Exception Zone" and "Row Dwelling Residential (R6-
43) Exception Zone" in By-law No. 4279-01.D and 4108-99.0.
2) THAT Section 12.2.4 of the "Semi-Detached and Duplex Dwelling Third
Density Residential (R3-16) Exception Zone" be deleted and replaced with
the following:
12.2.4 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.28.1.i, the
maximum width of a driveway may be up to 5.5 metres per
unit with a double car garage.
3) THAT Section 15.47.2.7 of the "Row Dwelling Residential (R6-43)
Exception Zone" be deleted and replaced with the following:
15.47.2.7 Parking
Notwithstanding the prov1s1ons of Section 6.26.1.2, the
minimum required parking shall be two spaces per unit and
the required parking set aside for and visually identified as
visitor's parking shall be nil.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.28.1.i, the
maximum width of a driveway may be up to 5.5 metres per
unit with a double car garage.
4) THAT no part of this By-law No. 3228-02.0 shall come into force until the
provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to
such provisions, the By-law shall take effect from the day of passing
thereof.

By-law 4338-02.D has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 as amended by By-law No. 4279-01.D and 4108-99.D
for the lands zoned "Semi-Detached and Duplex Dwelling Third Density
Residential (R3-16) Exception Zone" and "Row Dwelling Residential (R6-43)
Exception Zone" to remove the requirement for a driveway taper/narrow entrance
within the Heathwood Homes subdivision located northwest of Bayview Avenue
and Stone Road.
