BEING A BY-LAW to
exempt certain Lots on
Registered Plan 65M-3461 in
Aurora, from the Part Lot
Control provtstons as
provided in subsection 50 (5)
of the Planning Act, R.S.O.
1990, c.P.13 (as amended).
WHEREAS subsection 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13 (as amended)
provides that the Council of a local Municipality may by by-law provide that the part lot
control provisions as provided in subsection 50(5) of the said Act do not apply to the
land that is within a registered plan of subdivision;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora considers it
desirable to enact a by-law pursuant to the said Act exempting the lands hereinafter
described from the said part lot control provisions;
AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13 (as amended) shall
not apply to the following lands:
Lots 1 to 14 and Lots 19 to 29
Blocks 30 to 36 and Block 40
Registered Plan 65M-3461
Town of Aurora
Regional Municipality of York
2. THAT this By-law shall take effect upon the approval of the Council of the Town of
Aurora, and the registration of the By-law in the proper land registry office. No part
of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been
complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day
of passing thereof.
3. THAT this By-law shall lapse after a period of two years from the day of passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME THIS 12TH DAY OF JUNE, 2001.

With respect to your applications for exemption from part lot control over certain lots and blocks
on Plan 65M-3461, please find enclosed herein a duplicate registered copy of the above-noted by-
law. Unfortunately Blocks 37, 38 and 39 on Plan 65M-3461 were inadvertently excluded during
the preparation of the by-law, and as such, a new by-law will be tabled for all three readings at
the June 26, 2001 Council Meeting. Upon the new by-law's enactment and subsequent execution
by our Mayor and Clerk, I will contact you directly regarding arrangements for registration.
Also, please note that Part Lot Control By-laws lapse and are no longer in effect after two (2)
years of the date of their enactment, and no formal by-law repeal or removal of these by-laws
from title will be required in the future.
