BYLAW - Establish a J.C.I.C - 20011127 - 431501CTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4315-01.C BEING A BY-LAW to Establish a Joint Council Committee to oversee the operation of the Consolidated Fire And Emergency Services Department. (Joint Council Committee) WHEREAS the Town of Newmarket has established a Consolidated Fire and Emergency Services Department pursuant to Section 210, Paragraph 31 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M.45, and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act; AND WHEREAS a Joint Council Integration Committee was directed to oversee the establishment of a Consolidated Fire and Emergency Services Department in accordance with the Terms of Reference attached to the Consolidated Fire and Emergency Services Agreement dated 151 day of November, 2001: NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Consolidated Fire and Emergency Services Committee, or such other name for the Committee as the Municipal Councils may decide from time to time, which is a joint committee of the Municipal Councils of Aurora and Newmarket, be established in accordance with the terms of reference outlined in Schedule A of the Consolidated Fire and Emergency Services Agreement dated the 1st day of November, 2001; 2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2002. READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME THIS 27TH DAY OF NOVEMBER , 2001.
