BEING A BY-LAW to prescribe
maximum rates of speed on certain
streets in the Town of Aurora.
WHEREAS the provisions of Section 128(2) of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990,
Chapter H.8 as amended, permit Council by By-law to prescribe certain speeds on highways
under its jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the rate of speed set out in Column Four shall be the maximum permitted on that
section of highway set out in Column One for which the limits are more particularly
described in Columns Two and Three as attached as Table "A".
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall not come into force and effect until flnal
passage hereof, and until such time as properly worded signs have been erected and are
on display in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Traffic Act and the lawful
regulations thereunder.
