BEING A BY-LAW to amend
By-law 4186.00.F.
WHEREAS By-law 4186-00.F "Being a by-law to set and levy the Rates of Taxation for the year
2000" was passed by the Council ofthe Town of Aurora on the 23'd of May, 2000;
AND WHEREAS By-law 4186-00.F established that property taxes shall be due and payable in
two instalments on June 27th and September 27th subject to amendment by the Treasurer, if
required, to meet the statutory timing required following the tax demand date;
AND WHEREAS the delivery of revised software and late return of the 2000 Frozen Assessment
Listing has delayed the issuance of the 2000 Final Property Tax Bills;
AND WHEREAS the Treasurer has deemed it necessary to amend the due dates for the 2000
Final Property Tax Bills.
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT all taxes levied under the authority of By-law 4186-00.F, shall be due and payable
in two instalments on July 25th and September 25th, 2000.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 21h DAY OF JUNE, 2000.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 21h DAY OF JUNE, 2000.
